Carlsbad, CA – March 18, 2008: On Sunday March 16, 2008, National Football League Alumni representatives met at HealthWalk in Carlsbad, CA to finalize their agreement to provide advanced health care for retired players. Much has been said about the lack of health care and benefits for NFL alumni. In an effort to provide support, Jim Weatherley, president of NFL Alumni San Diego, and Kirk Dodge, president of NFL Alumni Southern California, have negotiated an alliance with HealthWalk, an integrative health care company based in Carlsbad, CA.
“The Alliance is made up of the NFL Alumni San Diego and NFL Alumni Southern California,” said Weatherley. “We wanted to find a better way to serve the needs of our players.
