Yungchen Lhamo in Free Concert

HealthWalk™, a leading edge integrative wellness clinic that specializes in restoring and enhancing health and resilience to people by addressing the root cause of illness is proud to welcome internationally acclaimed Tibetan musical artist, Yungchen Lhamo. Yungchen Lhamo called by the Dalai Lama as the “Voice of Tibet” will perform a special concert for HealthWalk™’s clients and visitors. Part of HealthWalk™’s mission is to incorporate a balance of in-house modalities with extraordinary luminaries, who also have a positive impact on the well-being of its clients.
Yungchen is one such talent who has mesmerized audiences around the world with the qualities of her unique and extraordinary voice. She performs with almost no music accompaniment and that in itself is captivating and healing. Noted as "a voice from the skies," her songs explore traditional Tibetan themes of spiritual pilgrimage, soul-searching and a delight in the natural environment.
Since signing to Peter Gabriel's Real World Records label, Yungchen has released three critically acclaimed albums, Tibet, Tibet, Coming Home and Ama. She has lent her talents on many noteworthy albums and has appeared on stage with such renowned talents as Peter Gabriel, iPhilip Glass, Annie Lennox, Michael Stipe and Sheryl Crow. Yungchen was one of the Real World artists featured in a recent one-hour music television special by National Geographic called Songs Under a Big Sky. She is currently working on her fourth release that is anticipated to move the lives of many.
