Dynamic Listening System and Auditory Training Helps both Children and Adults

Robin Beattie

"It is always when people activate more of their being: expressing in awareness their emotional, mental and subtle-energy bodies: that the miracles happen."

What an amazing adventure it’s been, working for the past year with Mark Hinds and the rest of the HealthWalk team. I am very pleased to be involved with a company whose vision and mission is so aligned with my own dreams and beliefs. I am also delighted to have the opportunity to share all this with you our clients as a practitioner in Harmonic Alliance Therapy, Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging and our newly expanded Dynamic Listening System (DLS).

What is Dynamic Listening System (DLS)?

This powerful and groundbreaking method uses sound to realign the body and mind to realize its potential. DLS utilizes high frequency sound, bone conduction stimulation, and voice stabilization to re-energize the brain.

DLS is based on the pioneering work of Dr. Alfred A. Tomatis, an ear, nose, and throat medical specialist from France who developed a clinically proven method for re-training the ear and brain to improve learning, communication, and behavioral skills. Recent technological developments utilized by long-time student of Dr. Tomatis, Dr. Ron Minson of Denver, have allowed for further advancement of this healing method.

Backed by over 50 years of proven research and application in Europe (widely known as “the Tomatis Method”), DLS is truly the state-of-the-art in the industry now available for the first time in San Diego county. It is used to enhance and facilitate cognitive and physical functions and thought patterns by athletes, performers, students, learning challenged individuals and brain trauma patients.

How does it work?

Anyone experiencing listening, sensory, learning, language, reading, attention, memory, social, communication, or auditory processing difficulties, can benefit from DLS’ testing and auditory training.

Most people think of the ear as the vehicle simply for taking in words and sounds but it does so much more than that. The ear is the primary regulatory organ that integrates our senses and plays a major role in cognitive, physiological and psychological development. And because of its connection to the vestibular system, it also regulates balance, motor skill, posture and coordination. When our hearing is impaired or not working at an optimal level, it may precipitate a range of physical imbalances and learning disorders.

DLS and auditory training helps both children and adults with: auditory processing difficulties, attention difficulties such as ADD and ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, dyslexia, depression, anxiety, stuttering, oral-motor control, communication difficulties, sensory integration issues and sound sensitivities.

The benefits of auditory training include: elevated mood and desire to connect with others, increased memory and attention, more fluid expressive language, improved reading and comprehension, strengthened balance and coordination, improved organizational skills, diminished sound sensitivities, and improved voice quality. It’s also been found very effective for those who wish to reduce their foreign accent or learn new languages.

So - if you or your child have been diagnosed with or exhibit any of the challenges listed above, HealthWalk is here to help and provide you with the tools, products, supplements and solutions to deal with these challenges.

To discuss your needs, questions or interests, please call and schedule your free consultation – We look forward to being a partner on your path to vibrant health.

Namaste.
