Dear HealthWalk Family and Friends,

Warm greeting to you this season of Light. In many spiritual traditions this is the time of year to celebrate the Light, paradoxically when we have the shortest amount of daylight. I wonder if on top of the traditional spiritual reasons, there was a wish in our ancestors to acknowledge in the relative scarcity of physical light, the value and importance of Light in our lives.

At HealthWalk we see clients who come in with illnesses and issues related to S. A. D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and the stress, high expectations and pressures associated with the holidays.
